Abstract

The author focuses on the problem of forecasting the development of general secondary education, in particular the need to develop and substantiate predictive models of the system of general secondary education. The prognostic model of the development of the system of general secondary education is considered as a set of substantiated assumptions about possible variants of modernization of the structure of the system of general secondary education in the near and distant future.
