Abstract

The present study analyzes the historical way of Sign Language studying (using SL as the communication tool or the way of training in the educational process of the Deaf in Ukraine) by the leading foreign and Ukrainian scientists. In this paper, we characterized the understanding of SL as national at present and analyzed the main research attempts to represent SL in publications.
