Abstract

The manual outlines the theoretical basis and methodological system of integration of science education of secondary school pupils. It reveals methodological and psychological principles of the technology of integrating elements of knowledge about nature into a holistic natural-scientific picture of the world on the basis of general regularities and of nature during the study of geography, biology, physics and chemistry in the secondary school. The meaning of the concept "educational environment", which creates conditions for productive education, provides the natural correspondence of educational process, effectiveness of studying. The psychological and pedagogical bases of use of humanitarian knowledge in the process of integration of science education in the secondary school are covered, enabling the filling of the content of the science education by general cultural component and humanizing it, integrating scientific knowledge with universal values. A separate chapter is devoted to the review of the methodology of use the essential concepts of the science subjects on the basis of the integrative approach. The purpose of this manual is to enable the teacher to get acquainted with the theoretical analysis, methodology and practical experience of the implementation of theoretical and methodological principles of integration of science education in the practice of the main school, its practical and methodological support. The materials of the manual will help teachers of the science subjects to understand the structure, content, methodology of programs and tutorials of integrated educational courses "Natural science" for the main school and to find out the goals of training and the requirements for the natural sciences education of students in connection with the reorientation of education to the competence model, on the basis of education for sustainable development of society, the formation of its life-affirming model of the world. This guide is designed for scholars, teachers, programmers, authors of textbooks.
