Abstract
Collection of scientific articles (based on the materials of the methodological seminar "Conceptual Foundations Development of adult education: world experience, Ukrainian realities and prospects "of the National Academy pedagogical sciences of Ukraine) is dedicated to highlighting the results of scientific research and practical experience in the development of education of various adult categories. The problems of continuous philosophy are considered education - education throughout life. The peculiarities of adult education as a factor of development are described human capital in the context of globalization and European integration processes, as well as educational needs modern adult. The specifics of the professional training of pedagogical staff are analyzed to work with different categories of adult population. Attention is paid to the issues vocational training and retraining of the unemployed in a market economy, Advising adults on professional career development. The role provisions are grounded postgraduate education in the professional development of specialists. Psychological support is described education of various categories of adult population. The essence of educational activities of Romadsky is revealed organizations as an important component of adult education. Some aspects of foreign development are highlighted adult education systems. For scholars, pedagogical workers of institutions of formal and informal education, public organizations, specialists of cultural institutions, education managers, postgraduates and doctoral students, and others readers who are interested in adult education.
