Abstract
The development of digital humanities in the world was considered. The influence of informatization on the processes of bibliography and abstracting, the formation of repositories and the conducting a scientometrics researches were highlighted. The necessity of abstracting publications of the Ukrainian scientists outside the country was justified. The directions of the development of digital humanities in the library, which include the formation of databases of primary scientific data and the allocation of new knowledge from information arrays, were determined.
