Abstract

The article covered the geographical content of the curriculums for the primary schools of the first half of the twentieth century. The state of the school primary education in this period was described. The four periods of development of the geographical component as to the content of the native primary education in 1900-1950 were highlighted, the specifics of each period were discovered, the continuity and interdependence between them were determined and the preconditions and the factors that had influenced on the development of the geographical component in the content of the native primary education of the first half of the twentieth century, were described as well.
