Abstract

The manual considers the problem of interaction of thinking, cognition and education in the field of education. The authors argue that the main task of education is to learn to think, to teach to learn and to make the process of cognition a foundation of the educational process. It is emphasized that the introduction of thinking as an active power and the principle of development of all the actors involved in it in educational space transforms it into the space of freedom. The phenomenon of critical thinking shows the desire for creative search, non-standard problem solving, ability to deal with and act in various difficult circumstances. Detection of the origins of visual thinking, analysis of its present state, application of critical thinking in the conditions of global transformation of society contributes to the formation of a creative personality. The manual is intended for workers of the educational sphere, scientists, teachers, and for all who are interested in the problems of human development in modern socio cultural reality.
