Abstract

The practical guide, which was created out by the staff of the laboratory of foreign VET systems of the Institute of vocational education and training of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, presents the results of a scientific analysis of the current state and prospects of the development of VET systems of the EU countries in the context of strengthening European cooperation; the historical and modern European models of basic vocational education and training were researched and analyzed; it is characterized the innovative institutions of vocational education and training in the context of the formation of social partnership in VET systems in the EU; examples and best practices in the sphere of VET in leading EU and partner countries are described.
