Abstract
Modern concepts of lifelong professional education in the documents, regulations of international organizations and possible ways of their realization in Ukraine in the beginning of 21st century have been analyzed. The peculiarities of personal development and self-actualization in the system of lifelong education, conceptual basis of personal professional development under the influence of Euro-integrational processes have been revealed. The vital importance of the realization of state educational strategy in which a "Human being - Personality" is the highest priority, investments in human capital are encouraged, formation of national elite, in the center of which is spirituality, patriotism, professionalism, social responsibility takes place is underlined. The attention is paid to the methodological interpretation of the result of scientific researches. The propositions and recommendations for the development of lifelong professional education on state and local levels under the decentralization, on the levels of field Ministries and agencies as well as on levels of university and academic science have been suggested.
