Abstract

Modern digital technologies allow to create a reliable archiving of scientific research results, to quickly publish and disseminate scientific information in electronic libraries, electronic journal systems, science-science and information-analytical systems. There are special professional networks of scientists that contain a list of scientific advances on digital platforms. To establish the identity of the metadata of scientific research on the Internet from various information-analytical and science-computer systems, digital IDs began to be created. The last person identification initiative is the unique identifier of the Open Researcher and Contributor ID - ORCID iD, which absorbs all the positive elements of the previous scientists and researchers of the ID schemas. ORCID ​​is a non-profit project that assigns to anyone who wants a unique number (ORCID). The project is aimed primarily at authors who are published in various journals. Digital Library NAES of Ukraine was one of the first to integrate the ORCID iD on the basis of software EPrints 3, thus solving the problem of identification of authors at the international level, the information resources of which are stored in the Digital Library.
