Abstract
Formation of economic potential of the state provides complex realisation the measures, directed on improvement of quality of a manpower. Population vocational counselling concerns number of such measures. To the beginning of 90th years of the last century in Ukraine developed enough system professional population orientations, first of all – pupils of average general educational and professional educational institutions has been created. In independent Ukraine and has not been created its analogue, which соотвествовал to features and prospects of social and economic development of a society and new educational paradigms. Today the problem of updating of the maintenance, forms and methods of vocational counselling of studying youth is actual and at its decision it is necessary to consider the theoretical in previous years theoretical and practical experience. During the period существоваия the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic three attempts systems of vocational counselling of studying youth took place. In 20-30th years it was characterised by methodology use pedology and created out of an education system. In the late fifties – the beginning of 80th years it was characterised by gradual introduction of ideas and vocational counselling methods in an education system, mainly in a comprehensive school. From the middle of 80th years vocational counselling actively takes root into teaching and educational process of general educational and professional educational institutions. But even during this period it has not received corresponding standard and personnel maintenance.
