Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of satisfaction of information needs of users through analytical and synthetic processing of scientific collections in the State Scientific-Pedagogical Library of Ukraine named after. V. O. Sukhomlynsky. The peculiarities of the process of analytical and synthetic processing of collections of scientific works and prospects of development of this area of activity are considered.
