Abstract

The emphasis is on the need to change approaches to the production process abstract information. Features researched terminology definitions of the concept "crowdsourcing", stated his basic principles. The necessity of the use of crowdsourcing as a summary of content as an innovative tool industry segment on pedagogy and psychology nationwide database "Ukrainika science". The crowdsourcing projects of foreign libraries are analyzed. The prospects for the use of crowdsourcing technology in the library sector in Ukraine are discovered.
