Abstract

The article describes the basic methods and techniques of teaching as well as their classification. The following methods and techniques for the work on the text descriptions in the process of studying the theme "Adjective" in the 4th grade of the schools with Russian as the language of teaching were defined: cognitive one (the part of the problem), training one (reproductive, efficient, productive and creative) control and verification (survey, operational assessment, assessment and communicative). Examples of the use of these methods and techniques in teaching practice were represented.
