Abstract
Different points of view on the content of the concept of "thinking" are analyzed. The author defines the main characteristics of the nonlinear thinking style. The complex of skills, which is expediently formed by means of natural sciences, is singled out. It is emphasized that the theoretical basis for the formation of the synergetic style of thinking of the individual is the integrated knowledge on natural sciences and the humanities. It is determined that the methodological foundations of the formation of the synergetic style of personality thinking are the theory of self-organization, which integrates all knowledge about the world around us and the person himself.
