Abstract

There are the results of diagnostics of the operating component of research skills in senior school on example of biology in the article. We proceeded from the fact that at every stage of the educational research (from hypotheses to the interpretation of results) profile school pupils should be able to apply different mental actions, form the basis for their conclusions plan of future activities. The survey results give reason to conclude that mediocre level of formation in senior school research skills, development of which depends largely on the conditions created by the teacher, the use of appropriate methods and techniques of teaching and research, a skilled teacher guide of this process and so on.
