Abstract

The phenomenon of "teachers' cultural sensitivity" as a combination of his beliefs, knowledge and skills to ensure cultural congruence of educational experiences for different students in the same classroomhas been revealed. The influence of study abroad at developing teachers 'cultural sensitivity' as a necessary component of their Self-concept for the successful implementation of educational action in the modern realities of schooling has been characterized. The "developmental model of intercultural sensitivity" by M. Bennett, comprising six stages of intercultural sensitivity formation by transforming ethno-centric thinking on ethno-relative oneis analyzed.
