Abstract
World tendencies in the modernization of general secondary education are characterized by the fact that knowledge ceases to be the main goal of education, but priority is given to the formation in students of the ability to use knowledge and apply them in various life situations. Strengthening the activity component of the content of education actualizes the need to form the key and subject competencies necessary for their life activity among junior schoolchildren.
