Abstract

The philosophical principles of continuous development of the personality in religious and philosophical treatises of ancient sages have grounded: Heraclitus, Thucydides, Herodotus, Democritus, Protagoras, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Epicurus, Seneca and Plutarch. Gaining knowledge, formation of the necessary skills, ideological and moral position of general culture, becoming as human beings is the main content of these works.
