Abstract

The author distinguishes two groups of modern tendencies of the staff professional development in the system of corporate education. The first group covers the trends on the global scale: the growth of investment in human, the increase of the proportion of knowledge workers, the demand for skilled labors and the orientation for the new generation. The second group reflects the state professional staff development at the organizational level: the reduction of financial costs for mixed staff training with the provision of benefits on firm-level training, the development of methodological centers in corporate universities, the widespread use of active learning methods, the transition of intra-firm training for remote and virtual learning.
