Abstract
Historical and pedagogical research which carried out and based on a large array of archival materials and a wide range of scientific literature, it consists of four parts, which define the theoretical and methodological foundations of the study of transformation of the educational ideal under-Russian Ukraine XIX – early XX century as the historical and pedagogical phenomenon; the main stages, trends and directions of its evolution; substantiated the main paradigm of personality’s educational ideal, formed in the domestic pedagogical theories of this period were highlighted; the features of the formation and transformation of education social category ideals system were analyzed; the evolution features of the nationwide educational ideal in the education system of under-Russian Ukraine were investigated; the transformation features of the educational system of national ideals were characterized; the problem of the referent person in the legal field, in the pedagogical theory and practice of the modern Ukraine were studied and the prospects of the national educational system of ideals development were identified. For scientists, practitioners pedagogues, students, educational leaders, local historians.
