Abstract
The article highlights the importance of taking into account the age peculiarities of students of the basic school at training their health-saving use of software and hardware tools. The main psychophysical, psychological and psycho-pedagogical features of adolescent children to be taken into account in the planning and implementation of the educational process are analyzed. A number of learning conditions, recommendations on the formation of adolescent students’ competence concerning the health-saving use of software and hardware tools is identified. It is emphasized that the formation of this competence contributes to the creation of a foundation for conscious and safe use of modern ICTs by students both at school and home and leisure.
