Abstract
Several important issues in understanding of the current state of the studies of rhetoric as an integrative discipline in the system of higher humanitarian education of Ukraine of the beginning of the 21st century are proposed to consideration of the participants of the Second Ukrainian Scientific Conference "Actual Problems of Socio-Humanitarian Sciences" (Dnipropetrovsk, 29-30 November 2013) [Section "Modern education: methodology, theory, and practice"]. The paper presents the latest examples of Ukrainian-language publications (2010–2013) on rhetorical problems, makes mention of different well-known Ukrainian authors of rhetorical works, defines the directions of further work on defined theme.
