Abstract

The necessity for creating educational manuals of elective courses in foreign languages is substantiated in the article. The author determined didactic and methodical conditions which would secure effective work according to these manuals and contribute formation of habits and skills for intercultural communication to senior students. The plan for the implementation of a new educational manual of elective course “German-speaking countries” into the process of profile teaching foreign languages is defined. This manual is creating in the department of teaching foreign languages in the Institute of Pedagogy of NAPS of Ukraine.
