Abstract

The article considers the peculiarities of foreign language content in elementary school, identifies objects and criteria of textbooks as the main means of mastering this content. On the basis of it there was carried out the analysis of current school textbooks. the correct conclusions and recommendations for the improvement of their content were formulated.
