Abstract

The article analyzes the characteristics of psychological and noological understanding of the self-concept of a personality and its most important component such as a professional self-concept within the context of study issues concerning formation of professionally important qualities of future specialists in vocational schools. The author states that there is a worldwide trend of changes in the basic paradigms of up-bringing-education-training system, in particular professional training. It means that there is a need in the generation and development of new fundamental pedagogical ideas, in particular ideas and principles of person-oriented noological self-concept of a personality and professional self-concept as one of its main components. Fundamental pedagogical ideas in connection with categorical structures of classical and nonclassical didactics make it possible to thematize and conceptualize such fundamental pedagogical theories that can contribute to the organization of the system of up-bringing-education-training, formation of professionally important qualities of future professionals. Those professionally important qualities may form and develop professional self- concept of a person.
