Abstract

2014 is marked by the 200th anniversary of the birth the famous poet, writer and artist Taras Shevchenko. The article revealed the influence of poetic word for a comprehensive development of preschoolers, described particularities of forming speech plenty-competence of a special children preschool educational institute of compensatory type during of acquaintance with Taras Shevchenko’s works, identified indicators of well-organized and carried out educational work by getting know of pre-school children with disorders of speech development with poetical works of Shevchenko. Particular attention is paid to the extension methods of verbal-semantic competence of children with speech disorders by using of reading Shevchenko’s poetic material, graphic activity, listening songs, which can be used educators (teachers and speech therapists) in correctional and educational gamesclasses.
