Abstract
The paper outlined the current state of quality of educational software and ways of enhancing it. Elucidated results of a survey on the status of implementation and use of software in the educational process in secondary schools and the state ensure their quality. Guidelines for prospective development and approaches to evaluating the quality of educational software applications are provided.
