Abstract
The article pays attention to the problem of modern educational system oriented on the professional development of a person which starts from an early age and continues to change and develop under the influence of many different factors, among which there are: a systematic analysis of the requirements and needs of the modern labor market, the real analysis of the abilities, interests and aspirations, professional career choices; independence in decision-making; realistic definition of professional objectives and motives. Adaptation of educational proposals to the needs of the labor market (European, national, regional and local) and the needs, abilities and aptitudes of a person based on some training results are the basis for the development of modern vocational education.
