Abstract
The article considers the reasons for changes in the history education and what is due to the need to introduce some knowledge of Religion Studies at the lessons of History of Ukraine in 10–11 classses. Also analyzed the main methods of implementation and their features from the point of view of Religion Studies. The article focuses on the compliance with the recommendations of the Council of Europe, as well as summarized conclusions.
