Abstract

The author considers the non-formal adult education as a leading factor in social and economic development of the country, which is aimed at meeting the educational needs of different categories of citizens and the growth of the society educational potential. The non-formal adult education provides: the population’s social integration and its involvement in solving the problems of society, improving the status of citizen in the society and the competitiveness in labor market, which is an important mean of adult personal and professional development (social aspect); and the society’s workforce development, workforce’s qualification and professional mobility improving (economic aspect).
