Abstract
Realization of the competence approach to the studies of algebra and beginnings of analysis is examined in the article. Main attention is spared the questions of forming of save health competence of pupils. The analysis of normative documents and literary base of the theme of research is carried out. It is set that the problem of forming of healthy way of life for senior pupils during the studies of mathematics is investigationed not enough. A concept «health», «healthy way of life», «culture of health» is analysed. The conten of concept «save health competence» opens up. Save health competence – it is ability of pupils to apply totality health knowledge in concrete situation, care of own health and health of other people. The structure of save health competence of pupils consist of vital skills which promote physical health; skills which promote social health; skills which promote spiritual and psychical health. Marked, that in the process of studies of algebra and beginnings of analysis pupils to seize not only knowledges and abilities but also to accumulate experience, form the attitude toward outward things, studies, object, concrete theme, and also to seize the different types of values. Task of modern teacher to do so that certain educational values, in particular life and health, became acquisition of every pupil and basis for forming of him personality persuasions. Mathematics owns considerable potential for forming of save health competence of pupils. Concrete examples of tasks (evaluation, percentages, functions, graphs presentation of information about a sample etc) which are promoted in forming of pupils healthy way of life.
