Abstract
The features use the term "authentic person" in modern foreign and domestic psychology. Paper modern theoretical studies of this concept, particularly in the context of psychoanalysis, Gestalt psychology and existential-humanistic traditions. The main areas of empirical research authenticity, psycho described methods (Scale of authenticity 2008 questionnaire and authenticity, 2006) to study this phenomenon and their possible adaptation to local realities.
