Abstract

The article is devoted the main approaches to the construction and implementation of information system for management of scientific research in pedagogical sciences. The main problems encountered in implementing such systems, and possible ways to overcome them. The constructed information system «Research & Development» is described. This information system is the first stage of deployment of electronic document management at the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. This system provides documentary support to manage research and development at research institutions. It is designed as a corporate Internet portal (http://planning.edu-ua.net) on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 platform with added applications and document templates developed specifically to support research and development workflows in this system.
