Abstract
This article is devoted to the origins of the concept of "authenticity" in modern psychological science. Outlined psychoanalytic, existential and humanistic paradigm study this phenomenon. Analyzed the relationship of authenticity, identity and self- identity, including their identification in psychoanalytic direction and distinction - humanistic and existential. The directions for further research in the context of self authenticity and personal fulfillment.
