Abstract

During 15 years the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine carries out research work aimed at solving the problems of creation, providing and use of new ICT in education. The theoretical results and practical orientation of the research conducted at the Institute is focused mainly on the development of scientific and methodological foundations of the principles of open education. The implementation of the principles of open education is the backbone by forming both global and national educational systems. In this context, cloud computing is a new stage in the development of technologies with significant potential upgrading of educational and research environments of educational institutions.
