Abstract

The main results of the research work "Theoretical and practical aspects of science and an integrated information resource industry in the V. Sukhomlinsky State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine". The author describes a system formed by the integration of the library information resources on the basis of IRBIS64, including electronic catalogs, consolidated database of periodicals and theses on education, pedagogy and psychology, abstract database on the same subjects. The most important structural element of the system has become a Scientific and Pedagogical Electronic Library consisting of fund of electronic documents, reference and search tools and programming software. Given the general principles of its organization, as well as the results of the pilot implementation.
