Abstract
. The article deals with the problems of using unification in the process of document featuring and the peculiarities of arrangement of the branch database of "Subject Titles" authority file in education, pedagogics and psychology of the e-catalogue of V.O. Sukhomlynskyi SSPL of Ukraine. The use of the authority file will influence the unification in the process of arrangement of bibliographical records in e-catalogues in order to realize the maximum accuracy, distinctness and clarity in the process of document featuring and analysis; it will enlarge the possibility for more effective topical retrieval in e-catalogues (databases) within one library as well as interlibrary cooperation.
