Abstract
As a result of the forced migration, the number of social, political, psychological problems has significantly increased. It is children that suffer most in this situation. Experiencing the stress of being in the zone of military conflict, migration, adaptation to new conditions of stay could negatively affect the development of the individual, his (her) mental and physical health. It makes urgent the need of social and educational support for children from families of forced migrants in places of their temporary settlement. The article tells about the relevance of social and pedagogical support for children of forced migrants in the current social and pedagogical situation in the country. Different approaches to the definition of social and pedagogical support are reviewed, and the corresponding pedagogical, psychological and sociological literature is analyzed. The article reveals the essences of the concepts "children from families of internally displaced persons", "social and pedagogical support for children from families of internally displaced persons".
