Abstract
Main tasks to support for Government bodies activity by administrative reform are de-scribed. Basic trends and characteristics of information systems to support for Government bodies activity are distinguished. General functional requirements are formulated for these systems. Elec-tronic document and workflow systems are considered as basic systems in this field. The analysis of leading electronic documents and workflow software has been done at the contemporary market. The requirements and tasks to design such systems for use in Ukraine are defined.
