Abstract
The article places an emphasis on the necessity in technic-technological changes in the character and plot of their professional activity. The efficient system of professional development for the staff of enterprises including the processes of their adoption and continuous professional in-plant training are characterized. The specific features of competency-based approach to professional training, re-training and in-service training are represented. The material about organization of on-the-job training at homeland and foreign enterprises and is represented.
