Abstract
In the guidelines for the course "Ukrainian folklore" algorithm study of folkloristic heritage of classical university professors XIX - XX centuries., Due to the need to update the content of the basic course of study in the training of future philologists. Presents the contents landmarks study achievements folklorists teachers based on textual analysis of their scientific and educational works. The attention is focused on the contribution of teachers to the development directions of Ukrainian folklore: textual criticism, ethnomusicology, theory folklore, folklore literature linhvofolklorystyky, Source. Developed creative job search, the subject of reports, questions for self-paced lessons that enhance the research culture of future philologists, the formation of value attitude to the achievements folkloristic thought in Ukraine.
