Abstract
The article deals with the nine definitive versions of the sense of conscience based on the theoretical analysis. The contents of these versions and author’s attitude are discovered. The scientific concept of the conscience as a sociocultural phenomenon is defined. The conceptual technique of the purposeful education of conscience is suggested.
