Abstract

Lots of therapeutic and educational approaches are currently exist for young children with autistic spectrum disorders, although not all children benefit equally from any one approach. In this article the author aim to describe the comprehensive multidisciplinary educational SCERTS Model for children with ASD. The SCERTS Model prioritizes social communication, emotional regulation and transactional support for children with ASD and their families.
