Abstract

The preprint outlines the concept of factors of identity dynamics in a changed situation, which is implemented from the perspective of a structural-functional approach. A theoretical model of external and internal factors has been built, in which the main attention is paid to the peculiarities of their interaction, in which the situation as an external factor, performing a system-forming function, determines both the integrity of the entire identity system and the peculiarities of its structural components. It is shown that as a result of the dominance of the situation, a new configuration of structural components is created as the basis of a new identity and evidence of its self-construction. The presented conceptual model of the factors of the dynamics of personal identity can be used as a basis for the development of an empirical model aimed at organizing a direct study of the real components of identity through the inclusion of empirical facts in the circle of research. The publication may be of interest to scientists and practitioners in the field of methodology, social psychology, teachers, graduate students and all those who are interested in personality development and its behavior in various situations.
