Abstract

The paper examines one of the most popular platforms for creating computer games, and during the review of the capabilities and functionality of the platform, a primitive 2D game for mobile platforms is developed. Thanks to this, it is possible to introduce modern methods and forms of education into the educational process, because it is possible to create games not only for learning new information, but also for the formation of certain competencies. An analysis of the main terms in the field of computer games was made. The main disadvantages and advantages of the analyzed engine are described, the principle of operation and the history of their creation are introduced. The main hardware requirements for working with each of the considered software tools are also taken into account.
