Abstract

The presented article examines the issue of the competence approach in the preparation of a new method of teaching natural sciences, in particular, the history of the development and implementation of key competencies, distance learning, lifelong learning, etc. The main emphasis in the new methodology of science subjects is on learning through research, as one of the forms of the competence approach in the educational process, project learning, the formation of a system for evaluating the educational achievements of students, etc.
