Abstract

The article reveals the content of the Ukrainian part of the international museum project - the mobile exhibition "Paths of education in the Slavic world. Educational museums, pedagogues and historians discover the cultural development. International travel exhibition". The project was initiated in 2016 by the Slovenian School Museum in Ljubljana (Slovenski šolski muzej). One of the participants and co-organizers of the project was the Pedagogical Museum of Ukraine. In December 2016 - April 2018, the exhibition was exhibited in Ljubljana (Slovenski šolski muzej, Slovenia), in May-October 2018 - in Gabrovo and Varna (National Museum of Education, Bulgaria). In February - May 2019, the exhibition was exhibited in Kyiv at the Pedagogical Museum of Ukraine. For the presentation of the history of Ukrainian education, 24 photos from the museum's funds were selected with captions in Ukrainian and English on 6 topics: 1. Stages of literacy development. - 2. Teachers, teachers, teachers. - 3. School buildings. - 4. School lessons. - 5. School textbooks and pedagogical literature. - 6. Teaching aids and school equipment.
