Abstract

The article identifies priority areas of theory and practice of school Geographical Education in the context of the development of a New Ukrainian School. The expediency of scientific and methodological research on the organization of research and problem-based Geography training based on the principles of a competence-based approach is updated. The features of implementing the Geographical Component of Natural Education in New Model Training programs for the adaptation cycle of Basic Secondary Education are analyzed.
