Abstract

At the present stage, National and Patriotic Education is becoming of great importance, especially noticeable in war conditions. Unfortunately, it is only now that such a heavy price is being rethought / re-evaluated. In the conditions of the current formation of National consciousness, the inheritance of the cultural experience of the Ukrainian people by the younger generation is still one of the leading tasks of educating young people, as it ensures the nurturing of citizens-patriots of their country who are able to protect its independence and integrity. Therefore, National and Patriotic Education should be effective, and not just declared on paper in orders. To educate future national-conscious citizens of their State, it is necessary to reorient the principles of education, starting from the lowest level of preschool and continuing in Primary, Middle and High Schools in the National-Patriotic direction.
